    THIS WEEK's NEWS

    1. Christianity Explored (Apr 18)

Do you have questions about God, the church or the Bible that you've been dying to ask someone for awhile?  Have you ever wished there was a place to investigate Christianity and get a simple overview of who Jesus is and what He said and did?

Whether you are investigating Christianity for the first time or simply wanting to brush up on the basics, we want to invite you to join us on Sunday mornings at
8:15 - 9:15am, from April 18 to July 11.  We'll be walking through a 12-week course on the Gospel of Mark, looking at the life of Jesus Christ and what it means to follow Him.

Childcare is provided.  To sign-up for this free course, please register here

    2.  Update: Men's Conference

Men gathered this past weekend in Oakville for the Harvest Men's Conference to hear from Steve Farrar.  It was a tremendous blessing to hear his challenging and inspiring messages which spoke directly to the issues of biblical manhood and walking with Christ day by day.  If you missed this conference, we hope to make Steve Farrar's messages available to you soon.

    3.  Harvest Youth

This week, Harvest Youth is meeting on Wednesday from 7pm - 9pm at John Knox Christian School in the gym.  Please bring your Bible, pen and non-marking shoes!

    UPCOMING EVENTS

    1. Prayer Meeting (Apr 27)

"For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you." (Psalm 86:5)

    On April 27, from 7pm - 8:30pm, we'll be meeting at
John Knox Christian School for our monthly church-wide prayer meeting.  Please be in prayer beforehand, asking that our Lord would meet with us again in a powerful way by His Word and Spirit.

    Please note that
Small Groups and Youth will be canceled during this week of April 25 - May 2 in order to allow everyone to participate in the Prayer Night.

    2. PEAK Performance (May 1)

This session is designed to give you a solid understanding of what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ and to help you learn what it means to Worship, Walk with, and Work for Christ here at Harvest Brampton.

Peak Performance is a requirement for anyone interested in becoming a member at Harvest or joining one of its Small Groups.

Childcare is provided for Peak Performance; simply indicate the number of children you will be bringing and their respective ages when you register.  To register online,
please click here (further directions and details will be provided after you register).

    3. Child Dedication (May 9)

"Children are a heritage from the Lord" (Psalm 127:3), a stewardship given to parents and church alike.  So, this Mother's Day, it's our desire to express our thanksgiving for and commitment to the children God has given our congregation by committing them to the God together during our Sunday worship service.

If you would like to participate in this event, please contact Pastor Ted (tduncan@harvestbrampton.ca) by May 2.

    In His love,
