    THIS WEEKEND's NEWS

    1. Daylight Savings

Don't forget to "Spring Ahead" this Saturday and move all your watches, clocks, ovens and Blackberrys forward by 1 hour.  Or, you could switch everything over now and impress your boss this week by showing up early.

    2. Welcome Jameson Evenden

It is with great joy and gratitude to God that I announced this Sunday the addition of a third full-time member to the Harvest Brampton staff team. Jameson Evenden will be joining us as our full-time Worship Ministry Coordinator starting March 30th.

It has been a real privilege to have Jameson his wife Tayla lead us in worship on Sundays as our guests, and I am so excited that they will no longer be our guests.

Jameson has a tremendous musical gift and a humble and sincere heart for the Lord and a passion for His glory. We’re excited to see how God is going to use this rare combination for His purposes in Brampton.

We are very excited to have Jameson and Tayla join our community of faith, as God continues to bless the work that He has called us to. Please be praying for this young couple as they transition into full time ministry here in Brampton.

    3. Parking

God is certainly blessing far more abundantly, including the number of cars in the parking lot on Sunday morning.  So, if you are a regular attender to Harvest Brampton and call Harvest your home, then we encourage you to park in the far parking lots beside Queens St. Public School (the school behind Sir William Gage Public School).  This will be a great service to the visitors and newcomers to our church.  Thank you.

    4.  Beth Moore

Beth Moore is coming to Ricoh Coliseum in Toronto this March 12-13.  She is a speaker and author of best-selling Bible studies and other books for women.  Her life-transforming Bible study challenges and inspires women of every age, everywhere.  Beth's focus will be on the Scripture that God lays on her heart for each individual Living Proof Live event — no two are the same.  As she explores the Bible and how it applies to real life, you'll be amazed by her own experiences as a believer, and you'll be inspired to magnify and strengthen your own relationship with God.

    5. Harvest Youth - March Break Update

What break?  Harvest Youth will still meet on Wednesday, March 17 during the March Break at John Knox Christian School's gym from 7pm - 9pm.  Harvest Youth is geared to help youth in Grade 6 to 12 (Jr. High & Sr. High) come to know and grow in their walk with Christ, so don't forget to bring your Bible, pen and paper (and non-marking shoes for the gym:).

    UPCOMING EVENTS

    1.  Harvest Kids Training (March 26)

Providing a fun and safe environment in Harvest Kids and being equipped to serve and care for our children in the best possible way is a high priority at Harvest.  In order to do this, a night of training for all those who serve in Harvest's regular 6-week Serving Schedule is happening on Friday, March 26, from 7pm - 9pm at Harvest Bible Chapel Oakville.

To sign-up for this free event, please click here.

    2. Prayer Meeting (March 30)

"Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!" (John 1:29)

On March 30, from 7pm - 8:30pm, we'll be meeting at John Knox Christian School for our monthly church-wide prayer meeting.  As Easter approaches and we gather together as a body to praise and pray to our God and Saviour, please be in prayer beforehand, asking that our Lord would meet with us again in a powerful way by His Word and Spirit.

Please note that all Small Groups will be canceled during this week of March 28 - April 4 in order to allow everyone to participate in the Prayer Night.

    3.  Good Friday & Easter Sunday (April 2 & 4)

"they crucified him" (Mark 15:25); "he has risen" (Matthew 28:6)

This Easter, we invite you, your family and friends to join us as we celebrate the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.

    In His love,
