God’s Law Brings the Jews to Repentance
Passage: Nehemiah 8–10
Principle: Believers respond to God’s Word by turning away from sin and humbly depending on Christ.
Praise: “I Love You, Lord”
Prompt: Ask your child these questions:
• How did the Israelites respond to Ezra reading God’s Word?
• What covenant did the people make?
Practice: Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:
• By rejoicing that God has given us His Word.
• By repenting from sin and committing to obey God.
This Week: As a family, read selected portions of Nehemiah 8–10.

• How did God accomplish His plan to rebuild the wall?
